Pretty authentic hole in the wall. Food seemed pretty authentic to me. crying tiger was great, beef was cooked a little too rough-- left it hard for me to chew but the dressing was great. App pla was a whole branzino meal with rice-- the branzino was amazing, set up was a little weird had to basically disassemble everything before i enjoyed my meal. Service was quick-- definitely would come back and recommend to others.

This restaurant is conveniently located between soho and Chinatown, and features a packed menu with all your Thai favorites and more. I've been here multiple times and have enjoyed it each time. The service is always very fast and they give great recommendations.

This place was recommended to me by a local, and he set my expectations high, saying it was "the best Thai" of his life. A group of 4 of us decided on coming after a long day of exploring the city, at around 7:30 PM and they gave us an estimated wait time of 15 to 20 minutes. The wait time was very accurate and we were seated within 20 minutes. Such a cute restaurant. They were very busy considering they were also doing online orders, but our food came out very quick. My friends got the green curry (8/10) which was very bright, the red curry (7/10), which lacked some flavor for me, and the eggplant basil (8/10), which had a delicious sauce on it. I got the Gaeng Hoh (6/10), which also lacked some flavor for me. I thought it was going to be spicier, and have a distinct flavor but it fell short for me. We also got the Mango Tango (6/10) which was a little too sweet for me but my friends enjoyed it, and the Ka-sa-long (8/10), which I thought was a perfect drink. Overall, a good first experience. Service was quick, and food was good. Definitely will have to come back and explore more of the menu.

Got there before the crowd formed outside around 5:30pm on a Friday- cozy yet comfortable---had the crying tiger/beef salad - the dressing was spot on with just the right amount of lime and spiciness that went so well with the beef.... friend had the pad kee mao - great flavor and good portion size - one had a ground pork dish but i'm not sure which one but it was very spicy and very tasty- the calamari and curry puffs were good too! Worth the visit

A YouTuber was raving about this place, I had to try it for myself for lunch one day. The place itself was very cramp, so expect a wait and not the most comfortable seating, but the staff were very efficient in managing the line. And the food makes up for everything. I got the Panang Curry ($15?). It was the first time I ordered curry before, and it has to already be the best I've experienced. If you're into sweet and creamy, this is the perfect flavor explosion offering just that. It was not spicy at all. I cleared this plate UP. Lan Larb Chiang Mai offers a various array of dishes, and with how rare it is to see Thai cuisines below $20, it's a no brainer for me to try another dish here next time I want Thai food in the city.

Might I have found a reasonable Thai restaurant in Lower Manhattan? Quite possibly. Located in Little Italy, this restaurant which I am not going to try and pronounce (for now), is cozy but fits the bill when it comes to portion size to price ratio. The Thai Iced Tea is decent and is worth saving for the main course. As I say for all things dairy to all things spicy, conserve your ammunition! The Tom Yum soup is tasty, but small and skimpy. It has lots of mushrooms but it only comes with four prawns of shrimp. You might be better off getting the chicken for a more satisfying soup. Or break the bank and get both proteins. The Pad Se Ew I got as a recommendation from my server. It was between that or my usual Drunken Noodle. The portion size is generous and the food has decent flavor (I had to keep reminding myself that this is not a spicy dish), but I nearly polished the whole thing. Points are knocked for the chicken, which I feel is tough and a little bit dry. I think they could also use some more tasty appetizers as well, but good thing I did not get these or my bill would have been through the roof. Overall this restaurant is workable and will try another dish if the craving should arise again for Thai food.
